    Inspired by Japanese cultural traditions and my recent trip to Kyoto, Japan, with my son, this Koi Fish painting workshop explores symbolism, movement, and glazing techniques for water effects in acrylic painting.     Inspired by children's love of fairgrounds and rollercoaster rides, something I remembered fondly from my childhood visits to the Sydney Royal Easter Show, this clay slab pot workshop combines drawing, sculpture and imaginative design. Students will: Design their fairground theme Learn slab construction techniques Attach decorative clay elements Paint and finish their pot Each slab pot will be painted and ready to take home at the end of the workshop.
