More InfoOur older students will experience a new process of applying oil pastels and ink to create a textural effect. The process really stretches our older students who also develop their drawing skills choosing from a variety of rabbit and flower images to inspire their design, each student will create a uniquie artwork. More InfoPainting Autumn leaves is a great favourite with our older students. They choose an image of leaves and isolate a section that will fit well on their canvas. More InfoThis is a fabulous introduction to an abstract painting of autumn leaves. Our younger students love creating decorated papers, cutting out, stencilling and designing an abstract composition of Autumn. The artwork will be taken home framed. More InfoMonotype printmaking is a very much loved experience for our older students. They will be creating 2 layers of monoprints and some contour ink mark making to pull together their design of flowers. The “Hero” print will be coming home framed. More InfoOur younger students will be using an image of Van Gough’s original painting to first draw and then paint their own sunflower design on canvas. This work is multi-layered and will involve new skills. Our students will be using some of the fabulous Impressionist style painting strokes to paint their canvas.(Dimensions 40.6 x 50 cm). More InfoAll of our students love the tactile quality of clay. For the rabbit, the older students need to first build an armature on which their rabbit will be created. This is a challenging and immensely satisfying workshop, with skills in drawing, armature creating and clay sculpting. Art teacher Julia Sawicki -
“Autumn” slab pot, 16th of April 2021.

More InfoOur younger students adore clay. They will create a slab pot that will be imprinted with an actual autumn leaf, they will first form the slab pot then will work creating an imprint of an autumn leaf on both sides, finishing off painting their creation, the younger students will be working in air drying clay that will be taken home at the end of the day.
