This hands-on sculpture workshop introduces students to three-dimensional design using air-dry clay. to create an incredible Ocre whale sculpture.
Did you know that orcas are actually the ocean’s top apex predator and are the largest member of the dolphin family? 

Students will:

  • Learn about this majestic animal whilst learning how to sculpt it. Giving more meaning to the final artwork.
  • Explore structure and balance
  • Sculpt and refine an Orca whale form
  • Paint and finish their sculpture

Originally developed through Art Box term sculpture classes, this workshop extends students into more advanced clay construction techniques.

A wonderful option for children who enjoy tactile artmaking and creative problem-solving.
