New Proposed Art Class. Term 3, 2016.

Another class will be opening for our older primary school students.

Art Box Workshops Saturday Morning art class for students 8 – 12 years old is now fully booked.
following up from requests from students during the winter school holiday workshops a Thursday art class is proposed to be opened click here for more information on times dates and costs.
In Term three we will be drawing, painting and printmaking
Art Box Workshops has been approached to enter their students works from term three into an art competition for primary aged children in N.S.W on the theme of Our Threatened Plants and Animals.
Art Box Workshops art students will choose two Threatened Australian animals and two threatened Australian plants; I will help with the research and also write the process that I have taught with each to help with the written part of the entry form.
From the four subjects we will create a detailed drawing, a watercolour, a mixed media collage and a mono type print. Each student will have the opportunity to enter four artworks into the competition.

With new creative processes to be experienced and the excitement of entering into an art competition that has a focus on the conservation of Australian animals and flowers, this will be  a wonderful creative experience for our students. – Julia.
